My childhood was spent in Eldoret, where I attended religious classes. My first ginan coach was my dad who also taught ginans to all students attending the religion classes. Over the years, I learned a number of ginans, and my husband encouraged me and supported the recordings of ginans, to allow me share the knowledge within the Jamat and amongst other members of the extended family. I have participated in numerous ginan training sessions and devotional programs. For me, ginans provide an avenue to enhance my understanding and link me to my faith and inner self. I remain grateful for the opportunity afforded to share the recordings with so many more through Ginan Central, which is also an incredible source of amazing ginans and reciters.Birthplace: Kisumu, Kenya
