Profile  Albums Ginans (5)

I developed an interest in Ginans since the age of 4 by listening to various tunes and wording when I attended evening jamat khana with my parents. I initially started learning from simple ones from my parents at home, then from my wonderful BUI teachers, and later the Ginan classes in Qatar. Gradually my voice and tunes were recognized by jamati members and others and I kept enjoying learning more and more. It was at the early age of 8 in 2017, when I visited Canada, I had an opportunity to record a Ginan album with Arzina Merali. This content and many other Ginans were then uploaded to the University of Saskatchewan - Ginan Central and Jollygul websites. While in Qatar I even got an opportunity to recite a youth group geet for the Official Diamond Jubilee Album released by the legendary Kamal Taj and Council for UAE. I then also had opportunities to take part in Ginan- e-Mehfils and got many waros. I carry some deep love for Ginan and love to learn different tunes.
