I have started reciting ginans when I was 4 years old. Have learnt many of them. My mentor whom I was inspired from was Alwaeza Zarina Kamaluddin. I got a golden chance of reciting ginan in Bapas huzur in 2000 in Kharadar (in Karachi), Pakistan. My favourite ginans are aay saami ji jem tamay batrees daant vachay, parbha phati , prem patan, ya Allah Ray tum nay sirevoon and few more. Some heart touching comments from the Jamat which gives me more strength and motivation to recite more and more ginans are: A lady once told me she wanted to go home at 4 am as she had something to finish and she heard my ginans at 3:45 to 4. but after she heard it she decided not to go home as she was completely involved in them. Another lady once approached saying my sister has a heart attack in plane and If you can record ginans in your voice I want her to listen to it so she can get healed!! A lady once said please sing ginans just before bandagi so we can concentrate more in bandagi.Birthplace: Karachi, Pakistan
