Since my childhood, I was interested in learning and reciting ginans. Fortunately, I was mentored by a few excellent ginan reciters such as Zarina Kamaluddin, Muhammad Khimani, and the late Yousuf Bhai. I am trying my best to continue this legacy and recite ginans in Jamatkhanas as well as use technology to compile my ginans recitation. In the year 2000 during Mowlana Hazar Imam's visit to Karachi, Pakistan, I was lucky to be selected by the panel for the recitation of ginans in Mowla's Huzur. Appreciations from the ginan lovers encouraged me to learn more ginans. In the year 1986, officially I registered myself with the Study Circle and became one of the regular reciters in Jamatkhanas and continue my Khidmat to date. Still, I am a student and learn ginans by attending ginan classes organized by the Study Circle here in Karachi and also from the various scholars who have uploaded their recorded ginans on the University of Saskatchewan's website. Besides this, I am very grateful to Mrs Arzina Merali, for her support and encouragement in uploading my recorded ginans on the University's website.
