I am a Ginan Trainer, Assesor and Recitor from Mumbai, India. I believe, Allah has blessed me with a voice to sing and serve the jamat. Ginans are wonderful tradition of our Ismaili Community and its very important to preserve this treasure. Ginans are very much important for me in my life. I began to grow interests in Ginans when I was 14 years old. I began self learning from 2003. During the Hasnabad Didar in 2013 I was in the Intezaari Ginan team. In 2014 I joined the ITREB India GQP training program as trainer, now I am a 2022 Assesor. I am thankful to Rizwan Prasla, Sadik Momin, Yasmin Rayani, Khairunisa Ajani, Dilshad Keshwani and Khatoon Lokhandwala who taught me authentic raags of Ginans and who encouraged me to learn. I have recorded 7 to 8 Ginans and Qasida officially for ITREB India from 2014-2022. Inshallah this year I will be migrating to Canada and I hope and wish to bring all the knowledge of Ginans that I have learned from India and continue my services in Canada.Birthplace: Mumbai, India
