I started reciting Ginans from very early childhood. My mother Alijani Shirin was my mentor. I won various prizes in different Ginans competitions of the region and was also selected to recite Ginan in Huzur Pur presence of Imam e Zaman twice once in 1976 and then 1984 at Grand Darbar in National Stadium Hyderabad Sindh. On both occasions, Hazar Imam appreciated my voice and recitation and bestowed upon me lot of Dua Asish which is my life time wealth. Then I dedicated myself for recitation and understanding of Ginan with proper pronunciation. My work was brought forward by Arzina Merali in shape of two CDs in Edmonton, Canada for which I remain thankful and indebted to her. l got inspiration from the late Rai Jafer Sadiq and his school of thought, Toufeeq Merali and Mohammad Bhai .Birthplace: Hyderabad, Pakistan
