My love for Ginans began at the age of 4. To me, Ginans are a form of spiritual search and a way to connect to the divine. It is through them that I also formed an interest in music, specifically devotional music, and began taking Hindustani classical vocal lessons as a way to enhance and develop my singing. I have now learned over 150 Ginans from varying teachers in the USA, especially with the encouragement of my parents, and I continue to learn, teach, and record on a regular basis.
