Born in Morogoro, I used to attend Religion classes. There I was selected to participate in Ginan Competition and I recited the ginan Paar Karo Beda at the age of 10 years. I got the second position and thus the love of listening and reciting ginans was enhanced. After 5 years my family migrated to Karachi and I continued with my secular education. The love of ginans became my passion and I joined the ginan class where my mentor was Amirali Gillani. By Mawla's grace I was promoted to the post of Ginan Instructor and I started to teach Ginans to the Jamati members. On 21st March, 1989, I was blessed with the unique chance of reciting Ginan Eji Dhan Dhan Aajno Dadalo in Huzur in Karimabad, Karachi. Being a Ginan Instructor my responsibilities besides teaching Ginans to adult members of the Jamat , include preparing them for recitation on the special occasions like Khushiyali, Majalis, Mehfil-e-Ginan and also scheduling ginan turns in Jamat khana during rituals.
