My journey began in 1959 from Madagascar to Karachi where I enrolled for training to become a missionary. This journey led me to trips around the world and 60 years of service as a missionary. It was in late 1958 when Gulshan Dharsee went to Karachi from Tanzania for the same training. We later married. Both Al-Waeza and I had the same goals of serving the Jamat and together we delivered waezs and lectures and led many discussions. We travelled to many countries across continents including Australia, Mozambique, South Africa, Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, France, Holland, Denmark, Portugal, United States and Canada. Al-Waeza passed away in 2022. May her soul rest in eternal peace, Ameen. After that I travelled to France and delivered waez's. My other interests include reciting Tilawat-e-Quran and participating in Geet and Ginan-e-Mehfils. I have participated in these events since my early days in Karachi. I sing for my soul and also entertain gatherings with singing geets and playing guitar. I am commonly known as Al-Waez Rai Samsoudine Alidina (Madagascarvalla).
