Profile  Albums Ginans (5)

In 1996, I made my recording debut with Ginans and recorded Ginans which I recited in Jamatkhanas, in professional studios in India and UK. I prefer selected verses so that it is understood by me and all. My CDs of Ginans Volumes 1 and 2 were compiled in a new 'Serenity Album'. Thus, I became a composer of lyrics and music recording artist. I attended Mission class in Kampala, Uganda as a young child. I attended Conferences organized by Association for the Study of Ginans, in London. Ginans personally mean to me as a guidance from Mawla, for a better life here and hereafter. Ginans I feel are Spiritual and they preach me. My wish for the Golden Jubilee Nazrana was to distribute and share CDs of Ginans, Golden Nagma, Qawalis in 7 countries - UK, Kenya, Uganda, Dubai, Canada, France, and Portugal My inspiration did not stop there. In 2018, in Darkhana, a Grand Ginan Mushaira was organized, which was highly emotionally uplifting and an extremely inspirational and fantastic program. Several Ginan reciters were invited and I too was honored and highly privileged and lucky to be asked to join the group of reciters. I have also recited in a group with Taufiq Karmali. Shukar Mowla.
