I have been reciting Ginans from my childhood. The inspiration came from my grandparents and the other family members who encouraged me in my journey. I was formally trained by Alijah Asgar Ali Padhani and Alijah Saheba Shahenaz Ashgar Ali in Karimabad, Karachi and became instructor to trained new reciters. I have also participated in number of Mehfil-e-Ginan and Mehfil-e-Naat. Since, I moved to Edmonton in 2013, I have been actively reciting Ginans. In May 2018, during the Diamond jubilee of Maula Hazir Imam in Calgary, I was blessed with the unique opportunity of reciting Ginan 'Vinanti Karun Chhun Saheb Moraa' in Huzur.Birthplace: Karachi, Pakistan
