I have been a ginan enthusiast from the age of 8. My passion for ginans developed while attending Religious Education Centre. I joined the Darkhana Ginan Class, Karachi in 1997 as a student and was later appointed as Ginan Instructor from 2001 to 2013. I had the opportunity to train hundreds of adult students in that capacity. In 2000, at the age of 19, I was blessed with the opportunity to recite venti verses (Sami Maraji, Hariya So Hariya) in Huzur in Karachi. To me Ginans are the source of moral teachings, spiritual guidance and divine love. I was very fortunate to be trained and mentored by ginan gurus, in particular Mohammad Khimani, Sultana Saleem and Mohammed Ali. I have recorded many solo and chorus ginan and geet albums in Karachi (2003 to 2013) and have subsequently continued to learn and record ginans in Toronto. I have also organized devotional events and Ginan-e-Mehfils while continuing to train ginan reciters in Pakistan and Canada. I am very grateful and humbled to be associated with Devotional Literature seva.Birthplace: Karachi, Pakistan
