Alwaez Rai Mehdi Valji was born and educated in Karachi, Pakistan. He was a businessman by profession and moved to Abu Dhabi (UAE) in 1980, where he served as a Jamati Kamadia and Mukhi for about 14 years. He was one of the inaugural members of ITREB Dubai and founders of programs like Baitul Ilm, Ginan Class, Dua Class, Eid Namaz Class, etc. In addition, he was a founder of the orchestra , a teacher of music class, as well as severed as a teacher and principal of Baitul-Ilm. He was an Alwaez since 1985 and was conferred the title of Rai. He actively served both in the Gulf Cooperative Countries (GCC) and Canada. Alwaez Rai Mehdi Valji passed away in 2022.Birthplace: Karachi, Pakistan
