I am a mother of three amazing children to whom I hope to pass on my love of singing ginans. I include ginans in our lessons for homeschool as my learning of ginans started when I was a little girl. I remember every Sunday, my dad, Alnoor Saleh, would pull out his tiny binder that was filled with ginans, and he would teach me ginans. The first one I remember learning from him is Satgur Tani. I also loved singing ginans with my sister, Zahra Saleh, in khane. We often sang together in khane and it was always so special to me. Ginans hold a strong personal connection for me as well, as they remind me of the loved ones in my life- specifically my parents, my Nanimaa & Nanabapa, and my siblings.Birthplace: Edmonton, Canada
