Profile  Albums Ginans (2)

I love reciting ginans. I started reciting at a very young age and ginans have always stirred me from inside. I remember reciting my first ginan at the age of 4 - Haq Tun Pak Tun which I recited off by heart. I always take the time to understand the meanings of the ginans I recite, as I feel that adds depth to the recitation. My biggest mentor has been my mother and my biggest supporter has been my husband. Before any recitation, I silently ask for divine assistance to complete my recitation and it brings me great happiness when people enjoy my recitations. Ginans to me embody our history, our heritage, stories of the past that had hidden meanings. They express love and devotion and our connection to our faith and our beloved Imam.
