Translation

1. O brother! You have come from high (an exalted place), then why incline towards the low? You will live for only four days then why earn the falsity? What will you gain by this sin?

R. Do not forget in the illusion of this world; be humble because you will have to die. (On the Day of Judgment) Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s.) will intercede. Fear the falsity and do not forget in the illusion of this world. Be humble because you will have to die.

2. O brother! You had come naked but now live covered. You are earning this world but why forsake the next? Committing sins abandoning the true religion. O brother!

3. O brother! Those who left the religion and opposed it, they went astray and joined the rank of the sinfuls. Such followers of their own desires will go to hell. O brother!

4. O brother! Rarely anyone follow this path perfectly. It is the same religion which is known as the religion of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s.). Pir Shams (r.a.) teaches the same true knowledge. O brother!
